1. Information we may collect
- Account information: information you provide when registering or managing your account, such as your email address, username, profile details, and authentication information.
- Google Sign-In information: if you choose Google Sign-In, we receive information Google makes available for authentication, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image when provided. We use this to sign you in, create or link your Tweeeks account, and help protect account security.
- Content you provide: posts, profile details, product listings, pages, spaces, messages, images, or other information you choose to submit, depending on the features you use.
- Technical and usage information: information that may be recorded by the service or hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser/device information, log data, session identifiers, and interactions needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the platform.
2. What is public
At the time this policy was prepared, ordinary user posts and profile details are not intended to be publicly visible. Marketplace product listings, Pages, and Spaces may be publicly accessible and may be viewable by people who do not have an account. Do not include information in a public listing or public area that you do not want others to see.
Visibility can depend on the feature, your settings, and how you choose to publish content. We recommend checking the audience and visibility options shown before publishing. If the platform's behaviour changes, we will update this policy as appropriate.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- create and manage accounts and provide sign-in functionality;
- display content and operate features you choose to use;
- communicate about verification, account activity, support requests, and important service changes;
- maintain platform safety, prevent abuse, investigate suspicious activity, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- diagnose errors, maintain security, and improve reliability; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Google Sign-In
If you use Google Sign-In, Google's authentication service processes information under Google's own terms and privacy policy. Tweeeks uses the information returned through the sign-in process to authenticate you and operate your account. We do not ask for access to your Google Drive, Gmail contents, or other Google data beyond what is required for the sign-in features described here.
5. Cookies and sessions
Tweeeks may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain login sessions, remember necessary preferences, protect forms, and keep the service secure. Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in or some features from working correctly.
6. When information may be shared
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, deliver, or support Tweeeks; disclosed when required by law or to protect rights and safety; or shared as part of a business transfer where permitted by law. Public content may be seen by anyone who can access the relevant public feature.
7. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no website or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your choices and account deletion
You should use any account/profile controls available on Tweeeks to review or update your information. To ask a privacy question, request access to or correction of information, or request account deletion, contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some information may be retained where required for legitimate security, legal, or record-keeping purposes.
9. Children's privacy
Tweeeks is not intended for children who are not permitted to use the service under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means the updated policy will apply to future use, subject to applicable law.
